A lifelong resident of Chicago’s Southland, DeAndre Tillman is an accomplished attorney and public official with a reputation for being an advocate for disadvantaged kids, families, and seniors.

As an attorney, DeAndre practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning & probate and family law. As an elected official, DeAndre serves as Calumet City’s 3rd Ward Alderman. Chairman of the Ordinances & Resolutions Committee and member of the Permits and Licenses Committee, DeAndre is focused on making the city and Southland an economic hub for business growth and job creation.

DeAndre is described by many as highly energetic, professional, reliable, focused and results oriented. He is known for his ability to spearhead and manage complex public policy issues while simultaneously motivating staff, legislative colleagues, and community activists to action.

DeAndre is a product of the Southland’s public education system and went on to achieve his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Illinois State University and Juris Doctor from DePaul University School of law.

DeAndre is a board member with Brand Chicago, developing Chicago’s minority millennial entrepreneurs to build diversity, inclusion and opportunity in Chicago’s business community. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and has volunteered with Cabrini Connections Tutoring Program, Horizons for Youth, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. DeAndre received the prestigious Chicago Defender’s Men of Excellence Award.

DeAndre Tillman lives in Calumet City and is a member of the Family Christian Center Church.
